What is the definition of a Split Entry home?

The Split Level, Split Entry, and Bi Level Homes Style: There are regional differences in the U.S. concerning the use of these terms. For the purposes of this site, we will use the following definitions:

A Split Level home is one whose front entry is located at the same level as one portion of the home, and the other portions of the home are generally shifted a half-story from the level of the entry. A Split Entry home is one whose front entry is located halfway between the upper and lower lever with a small entryway as you enter the home and stairs leading immediately from the entryway to each level (Some regions refer to this as a Bi Level).
