The Cottage Style: Cottage is not an architectural style in and of itself. Many different styles of homes can be termed a cottage. It most often is used to denote a small home, usually one story. It is often associated with the word cozy, and with homes in rural areas. But the definition varies widely depending on the country and regions within each country. For purposes of categorizing on our website, we are sticking with small and cozy, without any other definite style.
